Guest Artists: Evolve Expressions
Evolve Expressions are Charlynne and Yvonne. We are poets, artists, and inspirational powerhouse. We write poetry to uplift and inspire others to remember that they are Enough Just as they are. It is our joy to share our gifts with the world and to remind everyone that they are a part of something bigger than themselves... always.

Guest Artists: Urie Jo
Shaven Raven Designs is the moniker of graphic designer, illustrator and Newham native Urie Jo. The UAL alum and pattern enthusiast owns a gift wrap and greeting card brand inspired by life as a 'third culture kid', combining British slang and Ankara designs.

​Friday 18th October
Guest Artist: Michael Butscher is a widely travelled, accomplished journalist, broadcaster, and author.
Originally from Freetown, Sierra Leone, he spent many years in Liberia as a consultant media trainer and English lecturer.
Michael worked as a freelance correspondent for West Africa magazine, BBC, African  Review, and other British media outlets.
He co-authored Den Ol Krio Bode Ose, a publication action by the British Council in 2003. He edited Distant Voices, an international anthology of short stories in 2005. Michael is also an advocate for a total ban on female Genital Mutilation in Sierra Leone  and Liberia .

Friday 25th October
Guest Artist: Tunde
‘Blouse an’ skirt, babe!!!’ is T. Balogun’s debut book, written during Lockdown 2020 & self-published in March 2021. It includes poems that feature themes such as equality, education & racial injustice. Her second book is nearing completion.

Wednesday 30th October

Guest Artist: Lalah-Simone Springer is a working class poet and speculative fiction writer from Dagenham, Essex (she/they). Lalah’s debut poetry collection, An Aviary of Common Birds was published by Broken Sleep Books in August 2023, alongside their band’s debut album, Cyclical Music. Lalah was long-listed for the Merky New Writers Prize in 2021 and has been published on the ANTHEMS podcast, Ink, Sweat & Tears, Onyx Magazine and more. In 2024 Lalah’s book tour and open mic event Common Birds Tour went to Housman’s Bookshop, The Common Press, The Chestnut Tree (Melbourne, Australia) and more. Highlights from this year include running a poetry workshop at Nike Well Festival London,  and performing as Cyclical Music alongside Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir in central London. Previous collaborations as a performance artist have been staged at The Barbican, Whitechapel Gallery, Folkestone Fringe and Almanac Project Space.
