Newham Poetry Group, building community since 2016
- Weekly sessions at three libraries in Newham with a regular attendance of 25-30 people
- Quarterly Open Mic events attended by approximately 150 people – since 2016
- Leading on poetry sessions at Stratford Park – 5 weekends of Poetry House in 2018 and 2019
- Lead volunteer for ‘Friends of Stratford Park’ – set up resident group to help regenerate the local park
- Member of Citizens Assemblies Working Group who help design the local community project- Information on Citizens Assemblies can be found here.
- Poetry Café in Stratford Park- Weekly Café in park since July 2019, as part of Stratford and West Ham Community Plan project
- Commissioned to run activities and create exhibition for the Newham LGBT month, Newham Word Festival and Summer Reading Challenge – 2017, 2018 and 2019
- Commissioned to run Poetry workshops at View Tube Café – Newham Greenway by Poplar HARCA
- Part of Black History month: Black Ink 2019 -2020 & Afro Art 2021
