Who we are

• Newham Poetry Group (NPG) is a free community-led group bringing people together through poetry, creativity and self-expression.
• We welcome all ages and all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned poets.
•  Join us for workshops, open mics, spoken word sessions and special guest events.
• We also publish books and anthologies, and run book swaps, festivals, exhibitions and celebrations of local talent.

Newham Living Colours

Join our monthly sessions and explore different forms of artistic expression in a safe, supportive environment. Each session will be led by LGBTQ+ artists with lived experience, creating spaces where creativity, identity and community can come together (find out more here).
