Newham Poetry Festival - Poetry for all is a weekend programme of poetry, spoken word, open mic, music, dance and book stalls (including book swap and unique signed copies).

The festival will take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September, 1 to 5pm at the Poetry House (Old Pavilion) in Stratford Park (West Ham Lane, London E15 4PT).

Tickets include refreshments.

We want to reclaim the space for the community and make Stratford Park the most vibrant community hub in East London. Our programme focuses on amplifying marginalised voices offering the majority of the slots to young locals, LGBTQ+ individuals, migrants and people from the global majority.

Newham Poetry Festival is possible thanks to an Arts Council grant.

If you are a local community group, school, organisation or resident and would like to be part of the programme, please contact before 20th of Aug. [email protected]
